Bekenstein is a Terran Federation colony world.
History[]
During the Great Breakout, there was a need for establishing a new industrial base to rebuild the infrastructure of several colonies attacked during the Tzenkethi War. One freelance explorer, Susan Ling, discovered the planet Bekenstein and its rich resources.
An industrial base was soon established on the planet, mining the resources and manufacturing the materials and machines needed to rebuild the colonies. Over time, the demand for luxury items increased during the Gilded Age, leading to Bekensteins establishment as a prosperous Staple colony.
The planet also boasts a high population diversity rate, with several species coming to the planet for opportunity.

Creatures native to Bekenstein include Hawk-bats and Thrantcill.
During the initial years of colonization, a group of rats stowed away on the colony ship and were mutated by the industrial centers on the planet.
